Metrics and Trends

This page provides a detailed view of reservation session performance and activity trends.

It expands on the summary metrics shown on the main dashboard.

Session Metrics

Total Sessions - represents the total number of reservation sessions created within the selected time range. A session is created when at least one reservation is successfully established.

Converted Sessions - shows how many reservation sessions resulted in a completed checkout. The conversion rate reflects how effectively reserved sessions turn into purchases.

Expired Sessions - represents sessions that expired before checkout was completed. High expiration rates may indicate cart abandonment or insufficient reservation duration.

Cancelled Sessions - shows sessions that were cancelled automatically or due to validation rules. Cancelled sessions do not result in checkout.

Renewals - indicates how often reservation sessions were extended. Sessions with multiple renewals may reflect longer customer decision times.

Session Trends Chart

The trends chart visualizes session states over time:

  • Created — new reservation sessions
  • Converted — completed purchases
  • Expired — sessions that timed out
  • Cancelled — sessions cancelled by customer or by the system

Time Filters

Use the time range selector to analyze:

  • Today
  • Last 7 days
  • Last 14 days
  • Last 30 days

Shorter ranges help identify spikes, while longer ranges reveal trends.

When to Review This Page

Use Metrics and Trends when:

  • Monitoring performance during high-traffic events
  • Investigating drops in conversion
  • Adjusting reservation timing or limits
