AI Insights

AI Insights provides automated analysis and actionable recommendations for improving reservation performance.

Page Navigation

The AI Insights page has two main tabs:

Generate Tab

Create new AI analysis reports for custom time periods.

Report History Tab

View and access previously generated reports. The tab displays a badge showing the total number of saved reports.

Generating Reports

Generate Custom Report

Select the analysis period using the date range picker or quick presets:

  • Today — current day only
  • 7 Days — last week
  • 14 Days — last two weeks
  • More — access additional options including 90 Days and custom date ranges

Plan Limits

Your subscription plan determines how many reports you can generate:

  • Plan Badge — displays your current tier (e.g., Starter)
  • Usage Counter — shows reports used vs. available (e.g., 11/15)

Click Generate to create a new report for the selected period.

Report History

The Report History tab displays all previously generated reports in a table format.

Table Columns

  • Generated — date and time when the report was created
  • Period — the analysis time range with a badge (e.g., "14 Days", "7 Days", "90 Days")
  • Summary — AI-generated summary of key findings (truncated preview)
  • View — button to open the full report

Pagination

Navigate through multiple pages of reports when you have more than fit on one screen.

Report Overview

When viewing a report, the header displays:

  • AI INSIGHTS Badge — purple indicator
  • Date Range — the analysis period (e.g., Feb 1 - Feb 15, 2026)
  • Key Metrics — sessions count, conversion rate, total revenue
  • Summary — AI-generated overview of current performance and trends

Metrics Cards

Sessions

Total reservation sessions in the selected period with trend visualization.

Converted

Number of sessions resulting in completed purchases and the conversion rate percentage.

Revenue Split

Visual breakdown showing converted revenue versus at-risk revenue in a donut chart.

Revenue

Total revenue generated from converted sessions.

At Risk

Potential revenue from sessions that did not convert. This represents recoverable revenue opportunity.

Conversion Funnel

The funnel visualizes the customer journey through reservation stages:

  1. Sessions — total reservation sessions created
  2. Reserved — sessions with active reservations
  3. Active — sessions currently in progress
  4. Converted — sessions that completed checkout

Each stage shows the count and percentage relative to the previous stage, helping identify where customers drop off.

AI Insight Cards

Three AI-powered insight cards highlight key findings:

Conversion Insight

  • Current conversion rate and trend direction (up/down)
  • Root cause analysis explaining the trend
  • Example: "Tiny volume and late-stage drop-offs suggest checkout/recovery friction, not demand."

Timer Insight

  • Current reservation timer setting versus AI-recommended optimal time
  • Impact prediction for timer adjustments
  • Example: "Now: 15m, Best: 30" — "More time may reduce late expires and lift conversions modestly."

Product Insight

  • Products with high reservations but low conversion
  • Reservation and conversion counts for specific SKUs
  • Example: "84 Res, 0 Conv" — "Audit pricing, shipping, and checkout errors for this SKU."

Market Trends

AI-analyzed market context for reserved products:

  • Trend indicators — growth (↑), stable (—), or decline (↓)
  • Product name — with growth/stable badge
  • Market context — external factors affecting demand for each product
  • Data availability — "no specific data found" when market data is unavailable

Products showing growth trends may warrant increased inventory or promotion.

Recommended Actions

Prioritized action items based on the analysis:

Each action includes:

  • Action description — specific recommendation
  • Priority badge — colored indicator (high = red, medium = yellow)
  • Difficulty badge — effort level indicator
  • Expected outcome — what improvement to expect (e.g., "Higher conversion", "Recover revenue", "Fewer expires")

Daily Trend

Bar chart showing daily sessions and conversions over the analysis period.

  • Sessions — total sessions per day (bars)
  • Converted — successful conversions per day (separate color)

Use this chart to identify patterns, such as weekend versus weekday performance.

When to Use AI Insights

Review AI Insights when:

  • Conversion rates drop unexpectedly
  • Planning reservation timer adjustments
  • Investigating product-level performance issues
  • Reviewing campaign or promotion effectiveness
  • Looking for data-driven optimization opportunities
  • Preparing performance reports for stakeholders
