Dashboard

The Dashboard is the main entry point for monitoring Cart Reserve activity.

It provides a high-level overview of reservation behavior across your store and helps you quickly determine whether the system is operating as expected.

The dashboard summarizes key metrics and highlights areas that may require closer inspection.

What the Dashboard Is For

Use the dashboard to answer the following questions:

  • Are reservations being created and converted?
  • Is inventory being held or released as expected?
  • Which products or regions require attention?
  • What actions can improve conversion?

Metrics Summary

The metrics cards at the top of the dashboard provide a quick snapshot of system activity:

  • Active Sessions — current live reservation sessions (updates in real time)
  • Total Sessions — total number of reservation sessions in the selected period
  • Converted — sessions that successfully completed checkout
  • Expired — sessions that expired before checkout

These metrics update in real time and reflect the selected date range.

Session Trends

The Session Trends chart visualizes how reservation activity evolves over time.

It shows the volume of created and converted sessions and helps identify traffic spikes or behavioral changes.

Use the time range selector to analyze different periods: Today, 7 Days, 14 Days, 30 Days, 90 Days, or Custom range.

AI Insights

The AI Insights section provides automated analysis and actionable recommendations.

It highlights conversion trends, timer optimization suggestions, and product-specific insights based on your reservation data.

Click "View All" or "Open Insights" to access the full AI Insights report.

System Status

The System Status panel displays the health of all Cart Reserve components.

It shows the operational state of Backend, Storefront, App Embed, Shopify Connection, and Checkout Validation.

Click "Show details" to view expanded component information.

Session Performance

The Session Performance section shows:

  • Status Distribution — breakdown of session states (Active, Converted, Expired, Cancelled)
  • Conversion Rate — percentage of sessions completing checkout
  • Expired/Cancelled counts — sessions that did not convert

Click "View all sessions" to access detailed session records.

Product and Geographic Insights

The dashboard also highlights:

  • Products most frequently reserved
  • Regions with high reservation activity or low conversion

These insights help identify inventory pressure points and regional performance differences.
